JDR Plumbing Pte Ltd (“JDR Plumbing”, “we”, “us”) provides plumbing services in Singapore. This policy explains how we collect, use and disclose personal data when you visit jdrplumbingsg.com or contact us about our services, in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”).
1. Personal data we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and carry out the work. Depending on how you deal with us, this may include:
- your name, phone number and email address;
- the address of the property where work is needed, and access details;
- descriptions, photos or videos of the plumbing problem that you send us (for example by WhatsApp);
- details of the job, quotation, payment and any warranty or follow-up;
- records of your calls, messages and emails with us.
Please do not send us personal data that is not needed for your request, such as NRIC numbers or bank card details, unless we specifically ask for it.
2. How we collect it
We collect personal data directly from you when you call us, message us on WhatsApp, email us, or book a job. Our website has no contact form or account system and does not use advertising cookies or analytics tools at the time of writing. If that changes, we will update this policy.
3. Website technical data
Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts and is delivered through Cloudflare. As with any website, these providers may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details when your browser loads the page. We do not control how those providers handle that data; please see their own privacy policies.
4. Why we use your personal data
- to respond to your enquiry and give you a quotation;
- to schedule, carry out and follow up on plumbing work, including sending a technician to your property;
- to issue invoices, receive payment and keep business and tax records;
- to handle warranty claims, complaints and disputes;
- to comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
We use your personal data only for these purposes, or for purposes you have agreed to or that the PDPA otherwise allows.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it, only as needed, with:
- our technicians and any subcontractors working on your job;
- service providers that help us run the business, such as messaging platforms (for example WhatsApp), email and phone providers, and accounting or payment services;
- professional advisers, insurers, and government or law enforcement authorities where the law requires or permits it.
6. Transfers outside Singapore
Some of the services we use may store or process data outside Singapore. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure the data is given a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.
7. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or to meet legal, tax or accounting requirements. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
8. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal data from unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Subject to the PDPA, you may:
- ask for access to the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- withdraw your consent to our collection, use or disclosure of your personal data, although this may mean we can no longer provide some or all of our services.
